Though it only peaked at number 21 on Billboard's pop chart in 1962, "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" is a folk music classic. Performed by The Kingston Trio, "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" was written by Pete Seegar.

Because of her 1975 top 5 success with "When Will I Be Loved," many people think of it as a Linda Ronstadt song. However, it was The Everly Brothers who got this song into the top 10 in 1960. "When Will I Be Loved" was written by Phil Everly.
A duo who called themselves Don & Juan had a top 5 hit in 1962 with "What's Your Name?" "What's Your Name?" was a very popular song at the time of its release and remains a very popular song today. In a different month it may well have been a number 1 song, but it was in the top 5 at the same time as The Shirelles' "Soldier Boy", Shelly Fabares' "Johnny Angel", Bruce Channel's "Hey Baby", and Elvis' "Good Luck Charm."
"How Deep Is Your Love?" got to the top spot on Christmas Eve 1977 for The Bee Gees.
In 1970, Chicago asked the very profound questions, "Does Anybody Really Know Time It Is?" and "Does anybody really care?" For their efforts they were rewarded a number 7 spot on the charts.
In their top 10 1971-1972 hit, R&B super group The Chi Lites wondered, "Have You Seen Her?"
This song was reissued in 1975 with "Oh! Girl" on the other side.

Once hailed as the next Beatles, Brian Epstein's other group, Gerry & The Pacemakers got to the top of the pop charts with "How Do You Do It?"

"Do You want To Know a Secret?" peaked at number 2 on Billboard's pop charts in 1964 for The Fab 4, The Beatles. Perhaps it didn't make it all the way to the top of the charts because The Beatles' "Can't Buy Me Love" was occupying that spot.
"Do You Know the Way to San Jose?" was a Burt Bachrach - Hal David composition and was sung into the top 10 by Dionne Warwick in 1968.
In 1962, The Contours showed us they can "really shake 'em down" with their big top 5 hit "Do You Love Me?"

Bob B. Soxx & The Blue Jeans scored a top 20 hit in 1963 with "Why Do Lovers Break Each Others Heart?" Darlene Love was the lead singer of this group. So, if they sound like The Crystals to you, that' a top 10 hit named, "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing in the Shadow?"
